Host Brodie Welch, L.Ac., is an expert in Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, a holistic health coach, as well as a teacher and practitioner of qi gong, meditation, yoga, lifestyle and diet counseling who tries to walk her talk about health and mindfulness as a recovering Type-A, parent, and business owner. Deconstructing Pain

Dealing with pain can be frustrating and, well...painful. If you don't suffer from a persistent pain, you know someone who does. Just the words "chronic pain" bring fears of a loss in quality of life. But do we really know about pain? Dr. Kevin Cuccaro and I discuss how to 'deconstruct' pain and effectively address it.   • why pain persists even if the "problem" is fixed

Dr. Kevin Cuccaro, D. O.  is a physician, consultant and expert on pain. As a specialist in chronic pain, he is changing how society understands and treats the physical and emotional sides to pain. Dr. Cuccaro has a private practice in Philomath, OR and currently serves on the Oregon Pain Management Commission as well as the Oregon Health Authority Health Evidence Review Committee’s Chronic Pain Task Force.
